1965 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:

Introducing this awesome, one-of-a-kind 1965 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback, custom-equipped with a twin-turbocharged, fuel-injected 360ci V8 engine backed by a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. This car has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration and presents wonderfully. No expense was spared in this build, which is fully equipped to the max. It features a fully built 360ci engine, fuel injection, twin turbos with intercoolers, Tremec 5-speed transmission, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, tubular suspension with coilovers, and more. Over $100K has been invested in this unique muscle car!

Quick story: We acquired this car, along with two other Mopars, from the original builder's estate. According to the family, he started with a nice, solid, rust-free 1965 Barracuda and spent over six figures and several years building his dream car without any cost limit. It's evident that everything was done right. Once finished, around 2018 to 2019, the car was actively enjoyed until the owner became ill in 2020, and it was subsequently stored. After his passing, we purchased all the cars. We took this car to a local performance shop to get it back on the road again after several years of storage. They updated the fuel injection system, ignition system, and changed the fluids, among other things. We spent nearly $10K on the car, only for the shop to go out of business before it could be totally dialed in and finished. Out of frustration and not knowing where to take it now, we are selling it as-is, needing some final tuning and tweaking.

This bad boy boasts an amazing look, finished in deep burgundy with painted-on black stripes under multiple layers of clear coat for a mile-deep shine. To add to its aggressive appearance, it features 17-inch custom American Racing wheels and a great stance. Inside, the black interior is all new, all OEM, and looks amazing with factory buckets and a G-Force harness bar. Under the hood, the custom metal work and detailing make it a true showpiece. There's so much more to see, but I'll list as much as I can below.

In full disclosure, we are not into custom performance cars like this and are selling the car as-is. It is a running and driving car, but we have never taken it out on the open road and pushed it, as we don't know anything about turbo cars, tuning these types of cars, and don't want to take any chances. It needs to be examined by a trusted performance shop to ensure it's tuned correctly and that everything under the hood is functioning properly. We were told the car was built right and the previous owner spent a small fortune building it. Also, the front end needs to be aligned as the wheels are toed in. The engine compression is great, and you are more than welcome to have it checked out. After our last experience and with other shops here being backed up for months, we are selling it as-is, as you see it, and leaving money on the table for the next owner. We priced this car to sell, well under its true value, knowing that a few bucks still need to be spent. Multiple similarly high-end custom 1965-1966 Barracudas have been selling for $77K to nearly $100K at auctions recently. Don't miss out on this remarkable opportunity to own a truly exceptional and beautiful car. Act now, as this won't last long, and finding another one like this will not happen.

The restoration was finished around 2018 to 2019.It was a full, every nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. The car was done right and was a quality restoration with no expense spared. It is a beautiful deep burgundy paint finish, super straight sides, with excellent fit and finish. It has a couple of very small paint flaws you really need to look for.The black stripes are under multiple coats of clear for a deep finish.Rust-free body that was sandblasted inside and out, sprayed with rust prevention, and undercoated underbody. The interior was completely brand new and looks excellent throughout. As stated above, the car sat for several years; we got it up and running again, doing many suggested upgrades, only to have the shop go out of business in the final mile of finishing the car.The underside is very clean and detailed.I would recommend replacing the tires just due to age.The front suspension is all new but it needs to be aligned with the toe-in and camber needing to be adjusted.Since we got the car out of an estate, we do not know everything about it, and a few items still need attention for it to be perfect. The stereo is a very high-end system but is missing the amp for some reason. It is an amazing running car with great compression. Will not take much to get it ready for the right person to drive, enjoy, or show.Clean Arizona title with Arizona Reassigned VIN Our frustration is your gain!
