We will start with the exterior of this '69. At the time of the restoration, everything was disassembled, prepped, and fitted to ensure the best quality. You'll notice that all the gaps have near-perfect symmetry. Every single panel has a seamless fit and both doors, the hood, and the trunk open and close with an excellent fit. All new seals and weather stripping were installed as well. Once disassembled and fitted it was painted in base coat clear coat paint. When you look under it we can see that the bottom is just as slick as the top. Once it was reassembled, countless hours were spent wet sanding, buffing, and polishing it to a mirror finish that's as slick as a ribbon. Down the sides are laser straight and is showcased by the factory option of F8 Ivy Green Metallic. This Plymouth does feature the factory-optioned N96 Fresh Air hood that is functional and was restored at the time of the restoration as well. The ivy green metallic is accented by the Matte Black stripes that carry the hood and cowl. Every emblem and decal on this Road Runner is beautiful. Looking at the bumpers we can see they were replaced at the time of the restoration along with the rest of the trim, stainless, bezels, and grill. Every detail is a true representation of the quality of resto down to the correct painted brakes that are shown off by the Magnum 500 Wheels that feature the BF Goodrich Radial T/A White Letter Tires with 225/70/15 on the front and 275/60/15 on the Rear.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Road Runner. On the inside, it's also done in the factory color scheme. It has a Silver and Pewter Color Scheme that provides a stunning complement to Ivy Green Metallic Exterior. We can see that all the interior metal is just as slick as the rest of the car. The all-new trim, door panels, and handles are great accents. This '69 was factory equipped with the bench seat and it was restored the same way, all the padding and springs were redone at the time of the restoration along with new Pewter Covers. We can also see that new seat belts were installed, both front and rear. Both front windows roll up and down as they should and the rear windows open and vent as they should. All new carpet and headliner were installed at the time of the restoration along with new sill plates and visors. Also, a new package tray was installed. Looking at the dash we can see it has the factory steering wheel with the iconic Beep Beep horn. The dashpad is excellent and has a great fit as well. This Road Runner is a factory Four Speed car and has the correct floor shifter. All the factory gauges look amazing and are working as they should. Inside the trunk is just as detailed as the rest of this '69 as the metal is painted and polished. It's detailed out with the new trunk liner along with having the jack, spare, and a 15" spare.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Plymouth. Under the hood, we can see that it is nicer than the day it came out of the showroom. The attention to detail is phenomenal as evidenced by the quality of everything you can see. Both inner fenders and firewall are rock solid and painted and polished just like the rest of the metal. It still has the factory trim tag, and the radiator support does match. The power comes from the '69 Model 383 Big Block V8 casting 2468130 with a 5 14 69 date code. It's set up with the correct 295166 Intake and Holley 780 3310-2 Four Four Barrel Carb with 2579 Date Code. It's dressed in the factory-painted valve covers and the factory Coyote Duster Air Grabber Air Cleaner. To keep it cool it has the factory 1969 model Chrysler Radiator casting 2949 054. This Road Runner comes with Power Steering along with having the Group 27 Red Cap Mopar Battery. The 383 Big Block is mated to the '69 Model A833 Trans 99129 casting. It goes out back to the 2881489 casting 8 " Rear End with the 3.91 Sure Grip setup which this car was also factory ordered with (A31). As soon as you look under this Plymouth you are sure to be impressed. The pans and frame are all rock solid and have been painted and polished in Ivy Green Metallic. They did an excellent job with this Rotisserie restoration as it has all new bushings throughout along with the suspension being done all new with the correct style control arms with new ball joints.
