Vehicle Details
NO RESERVÉ AUCTION on this genuine one of only 24k 340 VS code dusters made in 1970. A total of 69k were made from 1970 to 1973. This car has been stored in a Miami warehouse since the late 80s. Tires have dry rotted. We hooked up a battery and motor does crank (turn) over. All fuel system would have to be cleaned. Tires replaced all fluids replaced and brakes should be serviced. Here’s your opportunity to get your hands on a true VS code 1970 340 duster. Any 1970 Duster you see advertised that does not have “VS” in the vin is simply a Clone. The ones that do start at $50k and go up to $100k. This particular Duster has a 440 date casted on the block is July 1970. Stamped on the top pad is E440 11 4 HP 2. Which comes up as a 1970 HIPO 440 six pack. The interior like seats and headliner are in very nice condition. There was a lot of dust and I simply wiped the car down inside and out. Car has a roll cage and apparently drag raced. All I know about the cars in here is that they were all parked in here in the 80s. The owner passed away 3 years ago. It looks like a fun car to drive around. The intake manifold is a Team G. Car is not tubbed which is a good thing. The floors are solid however I see some bubbling and rust on the lower quarter panels. Driver side is worst however I bang on it and feels solid. Also a couple areas that you can see small pockets of rust but nothing seriously bad. If you have questions or want to see a specific area let me know.
