1973 PLYMOUTH DUSTER. V8. Automatic.
I'm not certain of the engine displacement, I was told maybe 318, 340. My plan was to pull the engine and trans to drop in a modern more powerful Mopar HELLCAT motor and Manual set up, But as usual Time is my issue. It will eventually happen if not sold.
I bought this car in 2018 with intentions of swapping out the motor and trans (as mentioned) and making a more modern muscle car, but as usual, life happens. She does runs nice, has no issues mechanically and has some punch to her. The engine is healthy and runs great!! The transmission shifts great. Blower motors work and has heat, NO A/C. The speedometer needle has fallen off and so speedometer cant be read at the moment. The car has been restored BODY WISE. The only thing left is the interior. The pans are solid.
BODY: Since I've owned this car I have invested countless hours cutting and welding to make sure the body is all METAL. Any rust i found was cut out and new metal welded. I'm very proud to say, the body is RUST FREE. I have over 10K invested in the body alone. You can run a magnet on it, there's no plastic. the interior is whats left in the restoration, Has no headliner or rear deck speakers. carpets can use a replacement.
She starts and runs great! You can drive as is. I suspect it runs better than most of my late model cars do. The car has been restored Body wise. All that's left is the interior. All pans and undercarriage parts are rust free, SOUNDS GREAT. The car has a nice tone, as expected. Sits on Custom wheels and BRAND NEW cobra Tires. serious inquiries. Has 80K miles as per odometer.
The Transmission shifts nice, steering is tight, Brakes work great. Tires have less than 100 miles on them, Wheels are also new. The suspension is tight. Mechanically this car is sound. The engine I was told is a 318, Or 340. Not really sure. The engine fires right up, has no blow by or weird noises, compression is strong. Has plenty of power as is, good pick up for its age. SOUNDS GREAT.
Looking to sell and lose as little as possible (Ill never get back what I put into it). If not sold It will be finished over spring. Serius inquiries only.
