This is a genuine 1970 Plymouth "R Code" HEMI powered Cuda. Finished in EB7 Jamaica Blue Iridescent over Black Leather interior, she is a beauty. This is no clone or uptight trailer queen. This is the real McCoy and its ready to run! Here are the highlights.

Exterior:

The original R Code HEMI boasts its original sheet metal. Quarters and drops are factory including original locator tabs. The floor pans, rockers, and trunk all rust free rock solid and appear to be original. The vinyl top and front and rear bumpers are new. Fenders are original. The shaker hood and assembly also appear to be OEM factory original. If you've spent any time around Mopar's, especially those which spent time in the Mid-West, you know how remarkable this is.

In addition to the vinyl top and chrome bumpers, new exterior parts also include Vinyl Top, Vinyl Top Trim, and restoration and buffing of all window trim. The front and rear valances were repaired and repainted. All the argent trim was also restored and repainted, including rocker gills, headlight bezels, front grill, headlight bezels and front spoiler.

Interior:

If you are looking for a no drama driver with a crisp interior, here you go. The interior has been thoroughly refreshed. New dash pad, fully restored gauges, new door panels, carpets, and leather seat covers. The headliner, console, and overhead consolette, are in very good condition. Everything works. The rim-blow steering wheels feels rich in the hand. A HEMI powered Cuda with a well-appointed "Gran Coupe" interior from the factory, that is quite a find.

Brand new interior items include door panels, vapor barriers, arm rests, kick panels, rear panels, package tray, kick panel insulation, leather seat covers, carpets, restored/rebuilt dash pad, Rally dash inlay, dash knobs, shifter plate, shifter slider plate, A pillar posts, speaker repair, steering column restoration, console restoration, at all related fasteners and clips. The Quartz clock was repaired. Wiper motor was also restored. Everything works.

Engine Bay:

Engine bay presents as factory stock appearing with an era correct 426 HEMI engine assembly. The block casting code is 2468330, with a casting date of 10/08/66 Correct for HEMI assembled from 1966 1971. Intake manifold is a 2780543, also correct for a '66 - '71 426 Hemi 2x4. The front carb is a 4430 5 - '68, fits both an auto or stick shift. Rear carb is a 4432 5 - '68, correct for an Automatic. The left-hand exhaust manifold is 2780501, '66 '69 B body, the right is a 2780508, '66 '69 B and E body. The engine bay is clean. Lift the hood at any Cars and Coffee and be proud to show it. Turn the key and mash the pedal, and she jumps to life and pulls like a freight train.

Cosmetic restoration in the engine bay included blasting and powder coating the shaker base. The bubble was also repainted the correct Argent.

Chassis:

The undercarriage is unrestored and original. While it is not concourse or show quality, the condition is remarkable, given the age and mileage of the vehicle. The floor pans, quarter panels, trunk drops, rocker panels, frame extensions, are all clean and original. By driver's standard, the undercarriage is in very good condition.
