1965 Plymouth Barracuda Commando - 318 V8 Automatic. I list it as rare simply do to the fact that only 4,505 were produced with these specs. I've included the fender plate in the pictures if you'd like to do your own research. This is an original California built car with the shipping order number of 00081. It comes with the original manual, sales certificate and card. This car runs and drives great with no leaks.
- 318 V8 Automatic- Rust free- Leak free- New Cooper Cobra tires- New KYB gas-adjust shocks- New fuel pump- New battery and starter- New oil pan and tranny pan gaskets- New pitman arm- Oil and tranny fluid recently flushed and serviced- All lights and signals work, speedometer, temp, alt, and gas gauges work properly.- Non-A/C car- Non-power steering car- Heater works- Clean/clear title.- Original miles unknown.
This car really only needs a few things to be complete. 2 things that need to be done and 2 things I think eventually need to be done.
- Horn has recently stopped working (issue most likely in the steering wheel itself or relay)- Can't get into the trunk anymore. You can turn the trunk key, but the mechanism won't allow the trunk to release.
- The paint is a 10-footer. There are small chips and blemishes throughout. The main chip marks I have provided pictures.- My personal opinion would be to replace the original carpet. It has faded over time in the back as you can see from the pictures.
