This car has been in the family since it was new. It has 99493 original miles (we think), mostly driven on the highway from a small town in eastern New Mexico to get groceries 60 miles away. The engine ran strong but developed a lifter tick on startup that would disappear after she warmed up. She was parked due to the tick, and Dad never got around to replacing the lifters. She has been sitting for a while and needs to be restored, but it is complete and original. The body is very straight, with just a little surface rust, mostly under what is left of the vinyl roof. There is a crease in the driver's door, and the rear quarter panel is wrinkled a bit from getting brushed by a kid back in the 90s. The valence sheet metal under the front is dinged up, probably from a wayward jackrabbit. There is some hail damage from a recent storm on the driver's side. I tried to get pictures that show the extent of the damage. The interior is original and needs work. The New Mexico sun is great for sheet metal but not so much for softer parts.
