This 1940 Plymouth coupe was purchased from a 91 year old school marm in 1964 & went drag racing in California without being cut up. It was raced from 1965 until 1975 & has basically been stored inside ever since. It is much prettier than a 40 Ford or Chevy. Look closely at the grill, two piece hood, engine bay side vents & fender ribs. Also much more rare. You will NEVER find a cleaner 40 coupe anywhere! No rust ever. No bondo. All original steel body. The original engine & tranny were replaced in 64 with a slant 6 & 904 push button tranny. It is too clean & has too much history and special features to describe here. I have made it streetable while still retaining 95% of the old drag look & history. Your car buddies will drool over this car & it's history.
