1941 Plymouth Other Business coupe Additional Info:
This is an unfinished project and needs work to complete. Very well documented ground up build with pictures and logs. The car runs and moves, but has no brakes yet. 80% of the body work is complete.Body:shortened 8" with the opera window removed. It was also deck cut 5" in front and 2" in back. Doors have been suicided and handles shaved. Drip rails also removed. The rear was reshaped changing the trunk lid shape and a custom rear pan for the corvette lights and exhaust. The hood was wedge cut 2" in the front and reverse hinged. Headlights are frenched in.Suspension:A c4 corvette was used as the donor car. The entire front frame was sectioned into the car giving all original corvette specs for front suspension. The c4 rear was put in as a one piece unit and bracketed into the frame. Takes all corvette shocks and brakes.Drivetrain:1980 350 4 bolt main with 0 miles, only breakin run time. 10.5:1 compression. .533 lift/328 dur hydraulic cam. Sounds amazing! Tunnel ram with dual Holley 650's. Msd ignition with 6A control box. New everything internally.Transmission is a 5 speed from a camaro. New clutch and flywheel.C4 wiring harness was used. New 3 row aluminum radiator.
I have a lot of extra parts too. Glass, power windows, ac/heat, 2 sets of stainless trim, etc...
I have significant time and money into this project, but have moved on to a historic project house in the mountains and really just have no more time for it. I have kept a book throughout the build listing part types and details of the work done including pictures. I have a clear Virginia title in my name.
