1967 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:
I have for sale a 1967 Barracuda Notchback coupe with 318, 904 auto trans and 7.25 rear. Bench seat with buddy seat fold down arm rest, and auto shift on the column. It has Formula S emblems but it is not a formula S- but it does have 4 piston disc brakes and sway bar from the factory, and an added ADDCO rear sway bar for performance handling.
Car is basically decked out like a Formula S but came from Mopar as a 273 2bbl car- now has a strong running 318 with headers and 4bbl edelbrock performer intake. (manifolds in pics were cracked and discarded so new headers are now being installed). Somewhere in its life someone tried to make it a 340 S, and it looks as though they used a parts car to get it there.
Car was originally from California up until 6 years ago, when the girl who owned it brought it here to FL and drove it until the brakes failed. Fender tag indicates it was a California car. We have resolved that issue with a new master cylinder and pedal pushrod, and tuned up and serviced the 318 with new parts, fluids, and radiator to be installed before leaving (rad was rough- thats the one in the pic). Car runs fast and smooth and has a nice rumble thru the newer flowmaster dual exhaust with x pipe, and rides nice with the HD rear springs and front suspension.
The car has minimal rust - the inner fenders are good, frame is nice, fenders good along with header panel, front and rear valances nice, pass door nice, trunk floor decent along with floors, and need minimal work to 1/4 panels- mostly right side where it has a dent vertically- not bad but worth mentioning- that's the line that you see in the photo....also will need a patch before where it meets the rocker. Left 1/4 is decent with some minor flaws. Left door needs a patch in front down low in the corner. I would say that the most work i needed in the rear window corners, and while they don't make them, I do have a notchback parts car which i will cut them out of and give to the new owner (see pic of green car) for the buy it now price. This will only be offered for BIN- any less and we will still sell them to you if you wish. Other than that this is a great ride to get into and do a little repair while having some fun with it, for not like 30k.....AND IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY BONDO IN IT- ORIGINAL PAINT- what you see is what you get...
I do have pics of the underside of the car- it is pretty clean rust wise with a lot of the factory white paint showing- email for more pics
Also worth mentioning the car has a rare set of small bolt American Racing outlaw wheels, which haven't been made since like the 80's, and i would bet they have been on there since then....
car has a clean FL title and we can help with getting the car loaded- buyer to make arrangements for shipping at your expense
This is a legally binding arrangement- you buy, you pay, you own it. Car is sold as is, where is, with no implied warranties. Make sure to have your financials in order before buying. Non paying buyers will be reported to ebay. Any questions please contact us. Thank you!
