1970 Plymouth, GTX,V code, 440-6, 4 speed, 3:54 Dana, N96, Air Grabber.
This is a real V code, FK5 burnt orange exterior with FK5 burnt orange bucket seat interior. I have owned this car for 13 years and am the third owner. Restoration was started when I got the car then the project was stored away until now. I’ve decide to sell as I’ve got too many projects right now. Car is complete and I’ve tried to include pics of everything.
Galen doc’s and registry and listed on the 1970 GTX Registry.
Everything is bagged and tagged when disassembled; as well I have many pictures and details documenting the process before through present condition.
VIN tag, fender tag and body numbers match.
Engine is a warranty replacement block with the “S” stamped on top pad for “Service Engine”, unstamped VIN pad with a Jan 1970 build date. I was told it was rebuilt before I got it. Looks good but I was going to go through it anyway. Numbers matching 18 spline Hemi transmission and 3:54 Dana rear end. Cast intake with correct Holley carbs. Cleaner top is fiberglass, base is repro.
All Metal work is complete, new floors, trunk, quarter panel’s wheel houses etc. The hard part is completed and it’s ready for final body work and paint. This is an absolutely gorgeous rotisserie restored body. It is now and will be shipped on a set of body dollies as per pics.
N96 Air grabber car. All original air grabber parts included. I have the air grabber hood which I made out of two. This was before reproduction hoods were available. Needs to be finished ground and painted.
Woodgrain Rallye dash, Tick Tock tach, radio, console, high back bucket seats with bright orange piping.
Some new parts are included, new brake lines and fuel lines, front end kit and bushings, new rad, gas tank, shocks, interior screw kit and more.
All of the pieces are bagged and labeled when the car was disassembled along with plenty of detailed pictures.
A few missing things are, fan shroud, fan clutch, fan, 1 brake drum. Front windshield (cracked). I’m sure that there will be other small items missing but you get everything that was with the car when I purchased it as well as everything I have bought over time.
I have a mint set of 15” Polyglass tires for the car, No rims
So to conclude, the body is all metal and ready for final body work and paint. The rest of the parts, interior, drive train etc. need to be restored.
The car was in pretty good shape before I started the restoration. The metal work is top notch. If you email dghpavesi@aol.com I can give you a link address where I have hundreds of pics. Feel free to call with any serious questions 813 917 1034 Doug
