1938 Plymouth Other Additional Info:
1938 Plymouth all real steel..Built 37 years ago.Same owner for 40 years.Very simple thought out build.Corvair front suspension..Nova rear end..350 4-bolt with a nice bumpy idle that makes good power and very drivable..350 transmission that shifts firm yet not harsh.Nova rear end, not sure of gear set but a nice road gear that doesn't sacrifice get up n go or the need for overdrive.SW guages that all work correctly..White Pearl paint in excellent condition.Entire car through out is in excellent condition for a 37 year old build. It has just a few very minor marks on the running boards, small ding in driver's side front fender, wax n go..Interior is nice throughout as well, fabric is soft, floormats are custom and nice, old 2 knob cassette player works great, glass is tinted and in great condition, wipers work the arms are just off for looks, tilt steering column, signals and lights all work as they should.Great turnkey streetrod as it sits, you could jump in and drive anywhere. I myself prefer the older builds, the bugs of the build are long since gone and they seem to have a "character" about them with certain little hiccups that you quickly get a feel for and for me is the fun of driving a real hot rod.I am selling it for the gentleman who has built and owned it for 40 years, I am sure he will be able to answer any questions you may have, so please ask.Sold as is, please check it out, ask your wife, ask any questions, prior to placing a bid..
Thank you for looking.
