Restoring an old Mopar? Tired of your favorite Detroit muscle leaking on your garage floor? Either way, you'll be glad to know we are now offering rebuilt power steering gears for Mopars! These gears are completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. All worn parts and components are replaced. They are then adjusted to factory specifications utilizing a high pressure test bench which also guarantees leak free performance. Torque readings are checked from lock to lock to duplicate that original Mopar feel!

IMPORTANT!

This gear has a 1.125" pitman shaft and is correct for all 1965-72 B-body and 1970-72 E-body models. Note: we have found many '72 and earlier vehicles have had their gears swapped with '73 and later gears (the '73 & up gear fits when a '73 & up pitman arm is used). Due to the age of these vehicles, it is best to measure your pitman shaft (as shown) to ensure your pitman arm will fit. If you have the later '73 & up gear (1.250" pitman shaft), you can find that steering gear in one of our other listings. Also, due to the differences in return hose fittings, the provided o-rings will allow you to re-use your original fitting.

These power steering gears carry a full1 year/unlimited mileage warranty. We will repair or replace any steering gear found to be defective due to failure of materials or workmanship. This warranty will not apply to any steering gear which fails as a result of operator negligence, or which has been subject to misuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation, changes in adjustments or disassembly.
