This is a real 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible body.
It is an actual FJ6 Sassy Grass Green car.
The buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping. I am happy to help load the car onto a trailer. I will assist in anyreasonablewaythatI can
As you can clearly see this car is in extremely rough shape but thanks to AMD everything you need to restore this body is available for purchase through their website. (autometaldirect.com) This car has the hard to find convertible specific windshield frame and the stainless trim. It has the convertible top assembly. Except for the top edge around the roof opening, the quarters on a hardtop and a convertible are the same. This car has the quarter pieces you need to alter AMD quarters to fit this convertible. You will need all of the structure that goes around the convertible opening and this car has it in repairable condition. The rear wheel tubs on a convertible are mostly the same as a hardtop but they have a unique top piece and those top pieces are in this car and are repairable when combined with the AMD pieces.
This Barracuda is a USA production car. It has the sequential number clearly stamped on the drivers side of the cowl and also clearly stamped on the top bar of the rad support. I have the original fender tag which is badly rusted and I have a legally reproduced fender tag. Both fender tags go with the car. I also have a legally reproduced dash VIN tag. In order to have the VIN and fender tag reproduced I had to provide proof of purchase, proof of ownership, a North American VIN search and I had to provide a letter from the police, all stating that I owned the car. The tags were reproduced by datatags.comand that is what he required.I do not have the build sheet and do not know where it is.
I am the current legal registered owner of the car. I have current legal proof of ownership in Canada. I purchased the car in the USA and it was produced for the USA market.
This car is currently located in Alberta Canada near the Montana USA border.
I have spoken to a USA import broker and she assured me that importing the car into the USA is just a basic paperwork process. I will assist in any way that I can with export from Canada should you require that assistance. The car is on a wood crate and I can assist with loading the car on your trailer. I do have the ability to transport the car, that is something we can negotiate.

This car still has the 8 3/4” rear end, it has the K-frame with the Power Steering Box, It still has rear drum brakes and front disc brakes. The “power” parts for the top are missing but the top mechanism is intact and folds up and down quite easily by hand.
Years ago I bought this car which I now have listed for sale and and I also bought an identical red 1971 convertible in the same condition as this one. I am a professional body mechanic and I did restore the other one which was in as bad of condition as this one. It can be done and when done, you will have far better fit and finish than the factory ever hoped to achieve.
