1970 Plymouth Barracuda -- Additional Info:

Ground Up Built Pro-Touring Barracuda 586hp 6.1L HEMI V8 5-spd XV Suspension A/C /// The product of a detailed, ground-up build that rang up to just over $380K, this solid coupe wears an impressively straight fuselage that's been massaged to better-than-factory alignment. The car's crisp 2-stage shines under fresh bumpers, color-keyed mirrors, a Gloss Black spoiler and a 1971 front-clip. And traditional Hemi 'Cuda touches are reinterpreted through a Gloss Black Shaker, a Gloss Black valance and painted Hemi Banners.... Sourced from Indy Cylinder Head, this Plymouth's $24K Street Legend Hemi twists stout 10.3 to 1 compression into 586 dyno-proven horsepower and 530 lb./ft. of pavement-scorching torque. Behind that mill, a tough SFI scattershield fronts a modern Tremec 5-speed. That transmission kicks a spry Dana 60 axle that's finished with a Sure Grip differential and big, 3.73 gears. That drivetrain pushes a full XV Racing suspension that cages quality Hyperco coil-overs in beefy sway bars. Turns come courtesy of power rack-and-pinion steering. Hydratech-boosted Baer calipers cinch a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. And at the corners of the chassis, handsome Fikse wheels spin BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. Between the doors, you'll find an attractive leather interior that's blessed with just the right amount of modification. Tall bucket seats join a factory bench in stretching sturdy RJS harnesses across full power adjustment for the driver and front passenger. In front of those thrones, a leather-wrapped dash hangs familiar Auto Meter telemetry in a carbon fiber instrument panel, which looks great above modern air conditioning and modern Kenwood audio. Below that dash, fade-free carpet floats 'Cuda-themed floor mats around a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter. And the driver spins an elegant, Barracuda-branded steering wheel around a tilting column.
