I am selling this Original 1973 Plymouth Road Runner 400 in AMBER SHERWOOD, Code GF3 exterior and White vinyl interior for a friend here in town
For all you asking about originality. YES its all original matching engine and transmission from the factory. I added 6 more engine pictures. Yes it has power steering. see cap of pump in bottom right of picture. pump is down low.
It's power plant is the Big Block Hipo 400,4 BL, baby brother to the notorious Hipo 440. It retains its original Torque Flite 727 3 Speed “Slap Stix” Automatic Transmission that shift excellent.
Everything about this car is original. Paint, Interior Chrome, even the Poly glass spare tire in the trunk. BFG radial tires in good shape.
The AM/FM radio works as well as the Rear Speaker Fader switch on the dash. Headlights, signal lights, Wipers, Remote Mirror, Heater and Air Vents all work.
All windows roll up and down smoothly and door locks work as should.
Stored for the last year in a warehouse, just brought out to sell. Gets allot of looks! Wish I could buy it from my friend. I would add the rear wing and front chin spoiler to give it that total muscle car look.
Complete with its original Rally Wheels and Stainless beauty rings in excellent condition.
Odometer says 12,542 but most likely not correct. Hard to say as the white interior has hardly any wear. You be the judge. Still retains its original California correct Blue License Plates.
Take a look at how clean the huge trunk floor pans are.
Original set of keys and clean title goes with the car.
One slight push dent on right front fender at corner and rust hole at bottom of that fender from clogged drain plug. Other than that, there is no accident or Bondo repairs to this original factory paint. Another words, no surprise in the paint!
This car can be driven with its original patina, or restored to its new car glory very easily. With only 2,740 cars produced in 1973 makes this a desired collectible.
I truly express you coming and seeing this car in person and go for a test drive.
Because this is a used car, I am selling this car as is where is condition with no warranty applied or given.
10% deposit to be given at end of auction. Balance to be paid within 10 days of end of auction. I can assist with shipping, but it is the new owners responsibility for pick up. Car is listed locally as well.
