1968 Plymouth Road Runner Additional Info:
Beep Beep ..... 1968 was the first year for the Plymouth Roadrunner, the last would be 1980. Plymouth paid $50,000 to Warner Bros.-Seven Arts to use the Road Runner name and likeness from their Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner cartoons (as well as a "beep, beep" horn, which Plymouth paid $10,000 to develop)
For sale is this awesome 1968, first generation Roadrunner. But, this is no ordinary Roadrunner. The standard 383 has been replaced with a built 440 Big Block that includes a forged crankshaft, forged Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, Roller comp cam, Roller lifters and rocker arms, Holley HP 950 pro series carburetor, MSD billet distributor, MSD ignition box, Victor Jr aluminum intake and Eldebrock aluminum heads, just to mention a few of the unique features that make this car so much fun to drive ... and with the back seat still intact, fun to ride in as well. Beautiful paint, tires, and rims and recently tuned at DBR Racing. A must see. Priced to sell.
