This is how to instantly standout in a crowd in all the right ways. Not many people have a 1936 Plymouth Business Coupe, and you'll likely never see one as well built as this one ever again. With the bold paint package, custom interior, performance suspension, and a 383 stroker V8 under the hood, this speedy custom Plymouth is ready to turn plenty of heads. This one is instantly recognizable the moment it comes into view. Not only... are Plymouths a unique vehicle on the custom car scene, but also the custom design in that large grille means everyone is going to remember you. This is a classic steel body with the running boards and fenders in fiberglass for extra flair. So it looks fantastic in a modern Candy Apple Red that has enough clear coat to give it a mirror-like finish. Plus, with the sporty silver two-tone roof design and all the custom-matched pinstriping, this look like the hot rod that ZZ Top should have used in their music videos. Even the details are terrific, like the tri bar headlights, custom bumper, flush-mounted taillights, and caps on the large rear exhaust. But more than just a thoroughly professional build, you can tell this is a true speed machine. After all, those deep Weld wheels with Hoosier tires in the rear are there for more than just show. Inside it feels like no expense was spared to give this classic coupe plenty of real modern conveniences. A nice tan color matches everything on the door panels, seats, and dash. The single bench seat up front was upgraded to two modern leather-covered buckets that are vastly more comfortable than anything out of the '30s. The driver gets a Lecarra sports steering wheel with comfortable grips that match the carpeting. Ahead of that is a full set of AutoMeter gauges. This is built to be a cool comfortable cruiser, that's why you get great features like an AM/FM/CD stereo, and a tilt steering column. Plus, a custom center console houses the power window switches and ratchet-style shifter. Stuffed into the engine bay is plenty of power. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor that has been enhanced and fortified with aluminum fast burn heads, aluminum roller rockers, GM Hot cam, cast valve covers, and an MSD ignition. It inhales deeply though a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales through shorty headers that add even more power as they contribute to the thunderous dual exhaust. The V8 is backed up by a stout TH350 three-speed automatic, and that feeds the Currie Ford 9-inch rear end running quick 3.73 gears. Those big rear tires stay planted to the pavement thanks to a four-link rear end with stabilizer bark and adjustable coilovers. Up front is a Mustang II-style independent suspension with power steering and front disc brakes. Complete with build receipts, this is the street machine that has far more value than just being a unique Plymouth. So don't wait too long, or this custom creation might be gone. Call now!
