For Bid is a 1971 Barracuda/Cuda clone I have restored, owned and cherished for almost 24 years! This is arguably one of the best looking muscle cars to come out of Detroit!Car body: Exceptionally straight California car with no rust! Standard dash, bench seat, column shift automatic. Rim Blow Steering Wheel. Originally came with A/C but is not hooked up.Engine Block:Originally a 318 car, I replaced it with a 360 block I removed from a 1971 Dodge 3/4 ton truck.Block date 9-23-70 was blueprinted with a .040 overbore, parallel decked to center line of crankshaft.Camshaft: Hughes Engines "High Ramp Rate" hydraulic. 223 split duration cam @ .050", Intake lift is .504", Exhaust is .509". 110 degree lobe separation. (Hot Cam!! but streetable and will cruise at highway speeds with no issues)Crankshaft: Original Cast iron, shot-peened.Rods and mains machined .010 under.Clevite 77 bearings. Connecting rods and crankshaft dynamically balanced.Pistons: TRW hypereutectic with Perfect Circle chrome molly rings.Connecting rods reconditioned with new ARP bolts.Cylinder Heads:340 "X" type that have had their bowls opened up and runners relieved and are port matched to the intake.
