1963 Plymouth Other Additional Info:

a 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 convertible, push button auto 6-cyl. 225cid/145hp - almost all original - New top about 5 years ago. And all new interior last summer. Car has been professional undercoated. Everything works.... V200 Signet was top of the line.... She has 64,000 original miles on her, she runs and drives amazing & is fun to drive.... of course, for a 53-year-old car she has some very minor blemishes but nothing that affect her looks or performance. We went thru the process of getting her collector's plates but decided to opt out due to all the constraints with it - but due to that ICBC appraised the car and gave us a value on the car of around $24,000 to $25,000. We also went to... www.Hagerty.ca classic car insurance & Appraisal Company and they put the value at closer to $27,000. As I am sure you already know owning a collector classic vehicle, their value keeps going up as time moves forward. Here is what Hagerty has to say about the car... MODEL OVERVIEW 1963 Plymouth Valiant Coupe History of the 1963-1966 Plymouth Valiant In 1963, the Plymouth Valiant received its first major redesign since its 1960 introduction. Gone were the baroque swirls, curves, and fins, which distilled the car to a very sound and practically bulletproof compact. The 1963 Valiant now sported a trim, squared-up shape with a wide C-pillar, similar in some respects to the style popularized by the Ford Thunderbird of the era. The grille was a fine-mesh upside-down trapezoid and the fender line ran smoothly from the rear to the front, where it curved back over the front wheel and faded out. The V100 was the base car, the V200 had more options, and the V200 Signet was top of the line. All had slant six-cylinder engines of 170 cdi or 225 cdi, with 101 or 145 hp. The base model offered two- and four-door sedans and a station wagon, while the V200 added a convertible. The Valiant Signet, meanwhile, was only available as a two-door hardtop or convertible. Nearly one-fifth of Plymouth’s half million units during the 1963 model year were Valliant's. This is a hard to find car, most rusted out due to water leaks, but this car has been stored indoors and only driven in the sunshine...I am the 2nd owner of the car. I bought it at an estate sale and she bought it new from Victoria. The reason I bought it is my 1st car when I was 16 was the exact same car but a 1965. The reason I am selling it is I want to purchase a boat.
