This is a very clean West Texas 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with a 426 Hem, it was originally a 383 automatic car.
This car has been in storage for several years.
The Road runner is in exceptional condition for it’s age. The body sheet metal is in Very good condition with no Exterior rust damage or significant dents that we could see.
As you can see in the Photos this car looks Pristine and has a Professional paint jo, It has always been stored inside away from the weather.
The underside of the car is also in very good condition. Overall the floors and frame rails are solid. It has sub frame connectors that are very strong and well made.
There is an area on one side of the trunk drop off that has a rust hole ( as seen in the Photos ) .
It is equipped with a Narrowed 4 link CalTracs rear suspension and a Strange Engineering Dana 60.
The Brakes and suspension seem to be in good working order . It stop’s easily and steers with no challenges.
Under the Hood is an original 426 Hemi with Weiand Tunnel Ram with 2 Holly carburetors.
The Hemi starts easily and sounds incredible.
This is backed up with a very strong Mopar 727.
We are not sure of the age of the block As was the custom in the day all of the identification on the side of the block has been removed.
We can tell you it is a true 426 Hemi and you can see in the Photos and Video that it is in good running condition.
The Transmission shifts into drive and reverse and the Road Runner moves easily under its own power.
The car has a complete Great sounding exhaust system .
Inside the Road runner the interior is in good condition and is complete.
It could use new carpet and door panels to bring it up to the same level as the exterior.
This Road Runner was the King of the streets in it’s day in west Texas.
This Amazing car is still in Great condition and starts and runs. It can be driven onto the transport trailer easily.
It has not been on the street in over 15 years and will need to be gone over thoroughly before it is driven on the street again.
Please feel free to contact us with any Questions or offers. We are always looking for good Solid Mopar project cars and would consider a partial trade with cash.
Let us Know what you have.
The Road Runner is Located in the Waco Texas area.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $1000 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be used if discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, please do not bid until you have discussed options with me. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of the auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit ONLY) and an electronic funds transfer for the balance. I will not accept PayPal for payment of the balance except under special circumstances that must be agreed on prior to bidding. I’ll accept other forms of payment such as certified bank check or cashier’s check for the balance, but all funds must clear my bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.
ZERO (0) FEEDBACK AND NON-U.S. BIDDERS: If you are a zero (0) feedback bidder or a non-U.S. bidder youMUSTcontact me before bidding. I will cancel the bid of any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder that does not contact me prior to bidding. I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions.
BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message
