Selling my 87 Reliant K car. This is a 21K original miles car, and is a time capsule. The older woman who originally owner it lived in Newport R, as you can see from the beach sticker, and my boys have dubbed it the "Newport K ruiser"!...This car is mint inside and out, no rust or damage..just a few nanna dings here and there but a real stunner. Interior is pristine and so is the carpeted trunk with space saver spare and original jack that I do not think has ever been out of the car. AM-FM radio works...speakers are a little scratchy but their 30 years old. All the controls work great, and the car rides better than some new cars that I've been in. There steering is tight and she handles like a dream..cruises very nicely on the highway at 55-60 with no problems. Transmission is tight and shifts out very good. 2.2 non-turbo engine. There are very little signs of wear on any part of this car...the steering wheel still has all the factory textured grain on it, and this car still has the original windshield! This a 2 door bucket seat model...not many of these around. The K car is the car that brought Chrysler out of dept and helped make it what it is today. Really a great little car that gets a lot of attention and smiles. It's a blast to drive. Get lots of looks and a great conversation piece at gas stations and cruise nites. 1 Year old AAA Battery...the older woman who owned it was a member and had it AAA serviced. I replaced the brakes and soft lines so it stops great and is safe. Also replaced the plugs,ca, and rotor, and the TPS sensor and the MAP sensor. This has got to be the most factory original used car I have ever owned. I purchased it in the spring and have had great time driving it around all summer but no garage space and I refuse to let this sit outside this winter. It's that nice. Really a wonderful little car, and I'd like to see it go to a MOPAR fan or serious owner who will take care of it. Short money for a pristine classic that you can drive around get good gas mileage and start making memories with your family!
