1971 Plymouth Road Runner Additional Info:

Up for sale is a 1971 road runner, This is a real RM23H road runner NOT a clone. Car was originally Sherwood Metallic green w/ Drk. Green interior & a 383 4brl w/ 727 auto. on column shift, bench seat and was built at Windsor,Ontario (Canada) plant. It also featured hood performance stripes & turn signal indicators along w/ dual painted mirrors (drivers side remote, Inside hood release & inside remote trunk release & of course dual exhaust. The car has standard 11" manual drum brakes front/rea, power steering & 8 3/4 rear (unknown ratio.)I was told engine & trans are original but never checked the numbers to verify. You are welcome to check, bring a jack & stands. Yes, I know where the #'s are located. The engine is not currently running, but looks very clean inside valve cover breather, rockers, springs etc.. again very clean ( may have been rebuilt.) but nothing to confirm. I have never tried to turn it over or start it. It does have original distributor/ electronic ignition, HP manifolds, Edelbrock carb & I believe a Holley intake.This car obviously needs restored but is a very worthwhile project & not junk. The 1/4 panels, doors, hood & fenders are original Dk.Grn. color. It will of course need body work and or metal/ panel replacement of some areas. Trunk lid bottom lip is rusted & lid should be replaced. Will need drivers side floor pan replaced, passenger side is still very solid, trunk floor needs replaced. Front frame rails & inner fender wells are solid, rear frame rails are solid ( do have surface rust.) Some rust on torsion bar mount on drivers side due to floor pan rust. Windshield is cracked all other glass intact. I do NOT have the original bench seat. I do have a much nicer rear bumper & a set of (4) Cragar SS wheels included. The title is clean/clear & in my name & I do have the keys (ignition/trunk) along w/ '71 owners manual.I had plans for it but they are not possible now. I hate to see the car just sitting around outside. I've kept it covered, but It has started to lightly "flash/surface" rust as pics show. The car is for sale locally & may sell at anytime. This is a used 1971 vehicle, sold as is / where is, no warranty !! The road runner will need mechanical & cosmetic restoration. Pa title is clean/clear & in my name. Car will need trailered/hauled away does not run/drive. Payment by cash in hand or certified fund, fully cleared before pick up day. I will not release the car before funds are fully cleared !!
