1940 Plymouth Other Additional Info:
1940 plymouth coupe, overall solid for 77 years old. Engine runs strong, it is a 1955 23, so it is stronger than the original 201, but still looks correct. Transmission shifts through gears properly. Brakes are still drum, but they work, and the seals, and hoses have been replaced. Windows roll work fine. New paint, new headliner and wind lace, and trust me this car gets a lot of looks. The floor does have a couple of older patches, but is solid. I had most the car down to bare metal, and was surprised it was as solid as it was. One hub cap is the wrong size(a little larger than the rest) And I had to make the trim piece down the center of the grille, otherwise very original for a pre-war coupe. 6 vol, but charging system works well, rebuilt carb. I have a LOT of time wrapped up in this car.
