1968 Plymouth Barracuda Premium Additional Info:
What we have here is an extremely solid 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback with Formula S trim package. It is a 4-speed with a center console, bucket seats, 8 3/4 rear end, factory disc breaks and sway bar in the front. It has a 150 Speedometer that works well as do all the gauges on the dash. This car is equipped with air conditioning that's been serviced and holds a good charge that stays cold.
The car goes straight down the road and handles fine. It steers nice and easy, and it does have power steering. It recently had it's fuel system serviced. I've also given it a mechanical once-over, and a new radiator. Under the hood, it's a 318 2-barrel that runs really well. The clutch and transmission shift fine.
The interior has new headliner, carpet (with a carpet kit in the back), a refurbished dash, and new door trim panels. When the seats are folded down, you can fit a lot of stuff in the back. Italso came with a rear air blower behind the rear seat that does work well. The radio does work, but the speaker for it blew out.
The outer paint is a pearl white with urethane clear. It has a really nice shine, and the body is really straight.
The car is a driver, so it does have some minor chips and scratches here and there, but nothing real obvious. This is the most solid, rust-free Barracuda I've ever seen. There's absolutely no rust holes in the floor, or anywhere else.
This car has been in California all it's life. It was an original black plate car, and I recently upgraded it to new black plates. It is currently registered and insured in California. If you're anywhere in San Diego, California or have any questions, feel free to give me a call at (619) 206-2500.
I tried to describe the car to the best of my ability, but it is a nearly 50 year old car, so there is something I probably missed. It is a good cruiser, although I don't know if I'd drive it all the way across the US. But I will pick you up at the airport if you'd like, or help you set up shipping for it to a dock or across the country.
Here is a video of it running. Sorry, I had to take it from my iphone. Also, a link to more pictures.
