PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE II SEDAN AUTOMATIC 727 273 SURVIVOR UNMOLESTED
Mileage reads 69057 and according to the previous owner it original mileage and it not rolled over and based on the condition of the car this is very likely true. The original carpet and little pedal wear supports this too. Cruises nicely at highway speeds smoothly and is VERY fun to drive. It’s a turnkey car. I purchased this car from the guy who got it from the original owner. It was garaged for the majority of its life. It was bought new in Dandridge Tennessee and lived its whole life in Rogersville/Morristown area. It never saw a real winter as we don’t salt the roads in East Tennessee unless it gets bad enough (around 5 days of snow a year).
This was a custom-ordered car according to the fender tag, which means someone special ordered it at the dealer. The ‘H’ in the VIN represents a “high” build/trim package. The build sheet is STILL in the back of the rear seat and is in excellent shape! I didn’t remove it. It also has the original jacking instructions sticker on the trunk lid, Original Owners manual, original certicard, glovebox lid service records, and what looks to be original registration/title in a sealed envelope (Never opened it so I can’t guarantee that but it looks to be old). Original Fender Tag is in excellent shape. Clean Tennessee Title in hand with my name on it.
This Time capsule is ready to hop in, drive, and enjoy! Feel free to call me at (805) 405-0765 if you're interested.
MECHANICALOriginal 273 motor that runs excellent. I haven’t verified the numbers on it yet. Engine starts and runs perfectly. It has a slight exhaust leak that you can hear but aside from that it sounds perfect.Newer air cleaner elementThis car’s suspension is super smooth and it drives nice.Factory 727 Automatic (I have not verified its a 727 but it should be. I have photos of it if you want to see them.)Manual steeringManual brakes - Factory 4 drum setup. It stops great.Single exhaust and pretty quiet but has a nice soundRuns, drives, stops, steers as it should.
INTERIORComplete factory blue interior.Carpet looks to be original and is VERY good.Front Bench SeatDash is crackedHeadliner looks to have been redone at some point and could use some repair stitches (I’ll doesn’t sag but you can see it wants to fall down)Sun visors look to be in nice shapeFront and rear seats are original I believe but when I bought the car it had blankets over them. I’ll include these blankets.Heat works greatSpeedometer / odometer worksDome light isn’t working but I bet its the bulb as all other wiring seems to work fine. I didn't want to remove it because they tend to break if original and I don't have a replacement.Gauges all workDash lights workBrights workOld Radio and 8-track aftermarket radio with 6x9 speakers in the package tray. The radio didn’t see to want to power on but it may just be wiring.Factory non-AC carFresh air pull vents work greatColumn shiftWindows roll up and down nicelyWipers workHorn worksCigarette lighter worksHeater and blow work goodRemote mirror worksGas Gauge does not work but everything else does on the dashGlovebox liner looks to be replaced or just in perfect shapeFull set of keys for doors, ignition, and trunk
