1969 Plymouth Satellite Additional Info:
If you’re looking for a fun restoration project and loved ADAM-12, this is what you need! I bought this car with the intention of making a second ADAM-12 car but I don’t have the time. I bought some of the replacement metal pieces, which will come with the car. I have the correct front right and left floor pans and the set of frame pieces for the front (see pic) from AMD. This car is pretty solid, just a few minor rust spots that are in the normal areas for a 1969 B-body. The interior of this car is great. The dash looks almost new and is correct for a ‘69 Satellite/Belvedere. The door panels and head liner are in very good condition. The seats have some rough spots. Most of the vent window weather stripping is still very pliable like new. The side window trim and all the glass looks great too. It has a new set of 4 tires, a running 318 and when I step on the brakes, it stops. It has air shocks, no visible oil leaks and drives good. Other than that I haven’t dug into too much on it. I also have the original build sheet. My guess is this car was parked inside a lot in it’s life. Here’s what you get with the car to make it into an ADAM-12 tribute car... * A new set of replica T-2 can lights w/bulbs ready to go. These are really nice lights that were manufactured by Harvey communications. * Partial set of decals. Missing are the 2 “To protect and ...”. These can be bought off eBay. Other than that it’s a full set. * Federal PA20A Siren W/Mic (works when hooked up) * A CP-25 roof speaker (working when hooked up) * MOTRAC Motorola radio head. * Motorola radio speaker * One stamped metal Adam-12 numbered license plate * The 2 new AMD floor pan (not installed) * AMD front seat floor braces (not installed) * 2 indicator bulbs (red & amber) for a light control box (not included because I don’t have one but can be made) * A new set of heavy duty shocks, front and back. * I’m even going to throw in a vintage ADAM-12 lunch box with thermos. So if you are looking to own an ADAM-12/LAPD tribute car and want to make it yourself or with one of your kids/grand kids, this ADAM-12 kit is right up your alley. The new owner of this car will have plenty of resources for help with this type of restoration. Lots of info on my website www.1adam12-1adam12.com as well as many Facebook pages dedicated for ADAM-12 car owners. All great people and very knowledgeable on these cars. Restoration can be fun and challenging, but when you are done you’ll know your car inside and out and you’ll be driving around in one sweet ADAM-12 ride that everyone loves and wants. Good Luck and thanks for looking. Sold as is
