1968 Plymouth GTX GTX Additional Info:
Up for auction is my 1968 Plymouth GTX in its original RR1 Burgundy Met. with white reflective stripes. This is a true "L" Code 4 Speed Manual GT, not a clone.. The car has a period correct 440 magnum that is bored 30 over with a Lunati Voodoo cam and full 6 pack setup. The 4 speed transmission is completely rebuilt and shifts perfectly with a brand new centerforce soft feel clutch. This GTX has the correct 410 Dana that has had a complete rebuild as well.. I have all of the receipts for the balanced/blueprinted motor work from a professional machine shop. The car has a 6AL box with MSD Dist because the orange box from Mopar wasnt getting it done. The car was painted its original RR1 Red just under 2 years ago and it doesnt have 100 miles on it since the restoration, including front and rear glass. The 440 was painted last summer before placement, and the K frame is also black powdercoated, the lower control arms even have the correct cosmoline finish. Brand new TTI headers were placed last fall to match the 3 inch dual exhaust. The interior is in its original black with woodgrain GTX finish. All of the seat covers and door panels are new Legendary Int.. Wheels are torque-thrust dark argent and are in beautiful condition. The car runs extremely strong and will fry the tires when needed.
I am selling because I want a 70/71 Cuda, or cool A12, or E body convertible 4 speed for this summer. I have cash in hand for a trade up/down for the right car with my title in hand.. Let me know what you have to trade. Nothing to hide on this car, if you have a question just ask. Eric
