1970 Plymouth Barracuda AAR Additional Info:
Collectors take note! Here is your chance to own an extremely rare, well preserved, and well documented piece of Mopar history. This 70 AAR Cuda has only 39662 actual miles and came factory equipped with a column shifted 727 automatic. Very few AAR Cudas were factory equipped with a column shifter and bucket seats. It also has the 6 way adjustable driver seat, Rallye instrument package, power disc brakes, power steering, AM radio, and rear defogger. This is a highly documented original car. There are not one, but three original build sheets in very good condition that are included with the car and verify the unusual build combination. We also have the original bill of sale from when the car was purchased new. It is also registered with the Galen Govier Registry. The current owner has traced the car to it's original owner whom he has spoken with and can provide contact information for all of the previous owners including the original owner. This is a very well preserved low mileage car with no rust or signs of ever having had any rust. It is in excellent condition. About 15 years ago it was repainted and has had minor restoration work but with under 40k original miles, most of the car is original. To the best of our knowledge the only parts that have been replaced on the car are the power steering box, new seat covers, and the original 3.91 gears were replaced with 3.00 gear set. The original 3.91 gears are included with the car. The original dash pad has also been restored. The paint work is still very nice on the car, but it is not over restored. The bottom of the car was lightly undercoated and painted black when the car was new as was common practice at the time. The original matching numbers 340 six pack engine runs excellent. The original matching numbers 727 transmission was recently rebuilt and works great. This is a very well preserved car that drives and performs just as it should for a low mileage, well maintained original car. This car is available for inspection by appointment for serious buyers. It is located in Lenoir, NC.I have tried to represent this rare collector car as accurately and honestly as possible. I want you to be comfortable with the purchase, so please feel free to call with any questions or to schedule an inspection. Joe at HotRod Dynamics (828)381-0391
