1932 Plymouth Other Additional Info:
This is a really nice 1932 Plymouth survivor. It is a barn find car.
I think this car would make a cool hot rod to leave the body as is and install a newer engine & transmission and also update the axles.
It was stored in a shed with a dirt floor and it had no moisture in it. It was painted brown around 1970 with lacquer paint. It is old an cracked. Doors close great, indows go up and down. Gas tank does not leak (very clean inside the tank)
The running boards were sent off to get new rubber in 1970 and they were never done and were lost. They would be easy to make new by a sheet metal guy. The top has a bad spot that needs to be fixed. The interior is completely original and intact. When I got the car it had a few stuck valves so a valve job was done on it. It runs and drives. The tires are very old and dry rotted. This is the first year for hydraulic brakes on Plymouth's. They do work. Wheel cylinders and master cylinder were rebuilt.
I do have more pictures and a video of it running. I can email them if your seriously interested in the car. bobthemysteryman@gmail.com
The car is currently in storage and I will need to get it out on a Saturday that it is not raining. It will take me several hours.
