Beautiful and REAL 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with 440 cu in engine, with original factory rebuilt Hurst 4-Speed transmission and original factory posi rear end!
Original options include:
- Rare paint combo of VB7
whichwasJamaica Blue metallic with a light blue accent stripe. Repainted Tuxedo Black in Spring 2015- Born with a 383 and replaced with a 440 cu in engine- Factory Hurst 4-speed transmission that was rebuilt June 2015- Factory 8 3/4 Posi rear end with a 3:23 gear ratioCar has an aggressive stance with custom front 18" and 20" back Boss wheels. Car still has a few little things to do but all major items completed as we b
ought with intention to keep so made multiple repairs and installed new numerous parts including:- Rebuilt original factory transmission
- New clutch and pressure plate
- New wiper motor
- New "beep, beep" horn
- New circuit panel
- New starter
- New Edelbrock 4 barrel 650 carburetor
- New gas sending unit
- New motor mounts
- Added new aftermarket gauges (tachometer, oil pressure, temp)
- New interior carpet; etc.
Nice solid car, no rust, dents or dings; excellent body lines! The dash and gauges are original (except where noted) and all are in working order
We found the original build sheet and it will be included with the sale although it is tattered
A video is available of the engine running for anyone serious about the car
Here are the minor items to be completed on the car:- New headliner installed last year but had the car in the sun few weeks ago and it started to come loose at the edges of the back window
- Parking brake handle is missing but the cable is there
- The car has a beautiful paint job that was completed in spring 2015. We have noticed and in the last 3 months or so that a few bubbles can be seen in the clearcoat when looking at an angle by the trunk area
- Heater works but does not blow out real hard, may need to be flushed
- Still has original radio which needs to be rebuilt or replaced
