1973 Plymouth Duster 340 Additional Info:
Factory 1973-340 Duster (H-Code Car) Original Gold car with Ivory Interior. Bucket seats and Console. Factory Order Hood Treatment.
Original Build Sheet & Fender Tag, and Custom Order sheet from the Dealer when it was ordered new, and the original sales receipts, Also all factory brochures & Service Manual.
I have 4 Binders and more than 150 Pages of History on this Duster and the Build Process. Going Back to when it was purchased New.
Over 12K invested in cost on the updates and new parts on this Performance Build.
KYB Shocks, 1” Torsion bars, METCO A-Body Custom Driveshaft & Loop. Frame Connectors, Yukon Axles with Green Bearings.
Motor is a 408 CI Stroker (A Very Conservative 450 horsepower), Roller Motor, Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Heads, Roller hydraulic cam, TKO600 Tremic 5 speed, Hydraulic Clutch system with original console and leather boot, and a Bullet Proof Dana 60 with a 3.73 Posi Gear rearend, MSD eCurve distributor, etc. Hooker header into 3" over the axle rear exit exhaust with A-body tips. Aluminum radiator, Power steering with FirmFeel stage 3 Steering box. Handles VERY well, drives and handles dramatically better than new! Lots more! too much to list but all receipts are included in the folder. This car will run 12,003 @ 111 Mph as she sits, Time slips will show, Very Fast Steet car, on Pump gas, This car gets 17+ mpg on highway, 2300 rpm at 75 mph.
4 New 225-60-15 T/A Radials with Cragar SS Wheels, 4 Wheel Disc brakes with slotted rotors, Aluminum Master. Rebuilt front end with Moog rubber and some poly, no squeaks. SS springs. Rally Tuff steering wheel with correct extension. Great Sounding stereo, Sansui head unit with MP3 input, Equalizer, Pioneer 4 ch amp, sub with 2 channel amp, power antenna. Alpine speakers in dash and rear deck. Floor has FatMat.
Perfect Chrome bumpers, mirrors and taillight bezels. Inside Hood release, Windshield wiper's work & re-gasketed, No water leaks in passenger area or trunk. All the instrument Gauges work along with the extra gauges.
This car had only one repaint in 2002,The Paint is still in great shape for being on the car for 15 years, not show perfect but very street worthy. All original glass. Also a New Optima Red Top Battery & a high torque starter.
Car has never been wrecked, all original sheet metal and interior, All the body numbers match the radiator support, Factory Door tag, Build sheet & the title that is Clear & clean in my name.
