1974 Plymouth Scamp Additional Info:
Plymouth Scamp project car.
Someone was well on their way to building a nice car. But, they got stalled along the way. So, here it is, ready for you to finish.
Was 6 cyl. auto car, with PS and AC. No motor or trans. Most of the other parts appear to be in the car, grill, trim, heater core, etc., all seam to be in the trunk. There's a 3" rust hole in drivers, front floor. Someone did a poor patch on it. Comes with a new patch panel. The remainder of the floor and rails are very good. (I'd do a partial, 6" square patch to fix it)
I thought I was going to build it, but I'm a Dodge truck guy, so someone else can do this one, I'll build the Ramcharger.
I got this car just like this, so here is what, and all I know about it.
The GOOD.
Most body work was done.
Most of the paint was good.
Front suspension rebuilt, all new parts.
KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, all four new.
Engine compartment, chassis was cleaned.
Nice wheels and tires, like new.
Vinyl top removed.
Floors/frame solid (except as noted).
Have new patch panel for DF floor
The BAD.
Parts of the paint are now in primer.
windshield missing.
Interior disassembled. Parts there.
3" hole in DF floor, with poorly done patch (have new patch panel)
Is this a restore-able example? Probably not. But would make a great street rod, or race car build. Interior is a little rough. So, seems to me, some racing seats and aluminum panels are in order. You get the idea.
Please ask any questions, I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. I have a modest reserve on the price, to re-coup my outlay only. I can store the car covered, for up to 90 days. But full payment in 24 hours after auction end. I'll send you the clear and motorized title, and you can leave it here, as long as you need to, to arrange shipping or other.
