Background: I'm a big Mopar fan. About 7 years ago, I found this '63 Signet convertible. It was solid, straight, no rust, & running. Sent it out for restoration and had: it painted metallic navy, new interior, new tan top, new tires. It was looking great! Just needed finishing touches. Stopped by the shop to check on it and... The shop was shuttered; all cars, including mine, were gone. Some weeks later traced it to a salvagelot and found it just in time! Some minor parts (rear window regulator, power top motor,) were missing, but the motor and tranny were intact and untouched. (I've all the missing parts, with the exception of the power top motor.) I put it in covered storage, but haven't gotten around to it, and now I'm losing the storage, so it needs a new home. The good: the paint might buff out,and the seats and top might come back to life. The engine turns over from the radiator fan, but has not been running since put in storage. There's a small amount of rust in the trunk floor, but otherwise it still looks solid and straight. (I've new tail light lenses that will go with it.)
This would make a great restoration project, and the '63 convertibles are getting hard to find...
