Offered is a 1940 Packard 120 Sedan, Mileage showing 59,817, (last oil change sticker shows 59,582). This is a 100% complete rock solid original with no rot anywhere (surface rust only) stored in a heated garage for the last 50+ years, and is extremely well preserved.It is all original except for a very old amateurish re paint (originally dark blue) and what may be a re covered rear seat. It still has its original license plates it came with when I purchased it, Its jack in its original Packard storage bag, its original trunk mat, It also has front and rear bumper and grille guards, Packard fog lights(not hooked up), backup light, beautiful hub caps and nice driver quality chrome.(Grille has beautiful chrome). Purchased several years ago from the estate of a friend's dad, family stated that engine was rebuilt, but I cannot verify that. Family also stated after engine was rebuilt, owner became ill and was never able to run and drive car. Previous owner owned car from mid 1950s until 2019 when he passed (have old registrations). I purchased car with intentions of using for an everyday driver, but plans have changed as I am now retired and selling my Packard collection due to downsizing. I have sold 2 of the 5 packards and this is number 3 to be sold. This car looks decent inside and out for it's age and would make an ideal everyday driver with some work. Will need all new weatherstrip (some included). I purchased new battery, It turns over great but I did not go any further because fuel tank probably should be drained and cleaned before attempting to start.
