1940 Packard Model 120-A Additional Info:

Very rare and elegant Packard Model 120 Restomod (all steel, NO fiberglass) with strong running Chevy 350 CID powertrain, 3 gear automatic transmission and Mustang axles/front disc brakes, PS, PB etc.
This car drives like a blast, turns heads and never let me down!See this YouTube video:https://youtu.be/tA1-hwVKUn4
To start with the negatives the paint is in bad condition (see pictures) as well as the interior (both front and rear bench seats are worn, teared and have holes etc. and that's why I put a cover over the front bench). As with most Restomods the original gauges do not work (except the speedometer which has a small crack in the glass) but the car has three aftermarket gauges (fuel, oil pressure, water temp) underneath the dashboard. The chrome shows here and there some age and small rust but the bumpers and grille still present nicely. The tires are in good condition and still have plenty of meat.
On a positive note, this car is almost rust free and was never driven in rain or during winter(at least by me)and the sheet metal and floor of the car does not show any rust issues (except some minor surface rust on the floor panels and axels etc.). The car obviously does need some work (paint job and interior upholstery etc.) plus some other cosmetic and mechanical improvements and fixes before it presents nicely and can compete at a car show or make a great wedding vehicle etc.
From a technical stand point this car could be your daily driver so reliable and easy it is to handle and drive. Also to mention that the car does NOT have A/C or heater installed but I have the Packard heater unit that came with it when I bought the car and I believe it could be installed easily if somebody is interested in a heated cabin.
I recommend to view and inspect the car before buying as not everything canbe properlydescribed and put in pictures. Please email me in case of any questions! Thanks for watching!
