. Note the high quality of the paint and excellence of the bodywork . Here's the view that you, as a wealthy Packard owner of 1937 would see - a beautiful wool interior, tailored crisply and adorned with lovely wood trim. And, this car was only for the well-to-do, priced at over $5,000 back then! . If you were off to the opera and wanted to bring friends, you could bring them in these jumpseats! . The mirrored vanity is a nice touch to make sure you are properly groomed before making your grand entrance! . Beautiful high quality work. . Excellent wood trim. . I love the padded leather top and the oval rear window - just enough to say there is a rear window, but not enough to allow the people outside your car to see inside! . Leather trimmed chauffer compartment, nicely done! . This is a delightful car to drive. Starts easily, runs extremely quietly, and on all 12 cylinders, with all of the incredible power and torque that a Packard 12 is supposed to have. There's a reason that Packard 12's are so desirable. The 1937 is especially refined, with independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes. . Above the divider window is the compartment for the top. The compartment hinges down, the support bars fold forward and secure to the windshield posts, and the leather top secures to the windshield header. . Excellent instruments, all of them work and register properly. The radio isn't working, though. . Excellent dashboard . Beautiful Packard 12 engine - looks exactly right, it's the correct 1937 engine for this car, and it runs exactly like it should! . Nicely finished, with chrome acorn nuts, Packard Green where it's supposed to be green, and black accessories just like the detailing manual. . There's the Stromberg EE3 dual throat downdraft carburetor, atop the nicely porcelainized manifolds. . Here's the body tag, one of the reproductions made by P.I. . Proper hose clamps and hoses too! This engine bay is really super. . Wow! . A beautiful and rare example of the best of the Classic Era.
