1941 Packard Special 110 Presented By: GARRETT CLASSICSclassic and collector car sales and consignment1865 McGee Ln, Ste FLewisville, TX 75077Call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 This is a very nice driver quality 41 Packard. Purchased from our old dealership in Dallas 5 years ago, the owners have had a great time driving this car. They have made many fond memories and are now ready for a change. Enjoy the video of this 1941 Packard here. Please just click on the above sentence to see the video.(The video title says it's a 49, that was an error. ) When we first sold this car the owner had given us receipts for a major amount of work done on the car in 1994-1997. The car had been completely gone over. The engine was rebuilt, the interior was redone. There are receipts for new wiring, brake work, seals, gaskets, and much more. There are also receipts for chrome work and parts that were rebuilt such as the clutch, the steering gear box,and more. The car has it's original 6 volt system and is powered by it's 282 ci Straight 6 engine. The suicide doors made for easy access in and out of the back seat. The interior is showing some signs of wear, but is generally in good condition. It was reupholstered in 1994 and new carpet was installed as well. The dash is very nice. The clock is not working, but the gauges appear to be. The current owner has never had to do anything to the car except a new battery and oil changes. The Packard maintains it's original 6 Volt electrical system. The block number corresponds to the tile, and so we assume it's the original engine. The trunk is solid and also very original looking. There are several spare parts with the car. The undercarriage is solid and does not appear to show any rust. This car really appears to be unrestored. The front bumper is starting to lose some of its chrome, but the rest of the chrome and trim is very good. The factory steel wheels are wrapped in Firestone wide whites. This is a great old Packard. Just consider the fact that this car is 78 years old and still on the road. That says a lot for the Packard engineering back in 1941. The paint is in fair to good condition with just a few chips on hood and door edges, but nothing to take away from the overall look of the car.
