1958 Packard Hawk Sport TT Additional Info:
After the 1957 assimilation of Packard into Studebaker, the Packard-badged version of the Hawk was revised for 1958 with Dick Teague-designed bodywork and a McCulloch-supercharged 289/275 HP V-8, giving it a top speed of 125 MPH. It was the fastest car ever to wear a Packard nameplate and the last. One of only 558 built before Packard`s demise, this 1958 Packard Hawk Sport Hardtop was the subject of a professional restoration completed in February 2015 by Tii Restorations, Inc. in Huntsville, Tennessee. This is a first-rate matching-numbers example finished in gorgeous deep Black with a factory-correct Tan leather bucket-seat interior complete with striking engine turned dash trim. The hawk`s formidable driveline constitutes the rebuilt supercharged, dual-exhaust 289 CI engine backed by an excellent Borg Warner Flightomatic automatic transmission and Packard-sourced Twin Traction limited slip differential. Optioned with power steering and brakes, power windows and driver`s sea and deluxe radio with twin antennas, this premier example of The Last Packard also features rechromed bumpers and restored trim, a new windshield and emblems, twin side mirrors, new chromed wire wheels and wide Whitewall tires. It shows a believed-accurate 25,163 miles and comes complete with the original jack and tools.
