You are looking at a 1956 Packard 400. My friend and I bought this car about 20 years ago in southern California. This car is loaded with options . The options include, Dealer installed dual spotlights, Fog lights, dual rear antennas, rear speaker, power windows, power seat, wonderbar radio, 374 4 barrel engin, and push button transmission. As you can see in the pictures the body is incredibly straight . The car is a rust free California car with no rust holes anywhere. The engine was completely rebuilt less than a thousand miles ago at a cost of over 8000.00 dollars. The transmission was rebuilt shortly before that and shifts flawlessly. All of the lights and gauges work including the courtesy lights when the doors are open. The clock works sometimes. The radio works great also. The car looks incredible in the pictures but the paint is cracking. I have included pictures of this. I have been touching it up for years but it will need a paint job eventually. The interior was redone in vinyl along with the paint job years ago. Overall it still looks stunning . The pushbutton shifter quit working recently and I have tested everything. It will need the drive motor, everything else tested ok but I wasn’t able to locate one. I have “rigged” a rod through the floorboard for a temporary fix. I also have a replacement motor for the passenger window that will come with the car. All of the other windows work. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck bidding!
