1939 Packard 120 Additional Info:
1939 Packard Model 120 four door sedan with dual side mount wheels, straight 8 cylinder engine. This is NOT the smaller 110 Packard with the 6 cylinder engine. Delivered new to New York in 1939, spent many years in Florida, then Alabama. I had it shipped from Alabama to Oregon several years ago but never drove it. It was driven by the previous owner until the steering gear became too worn to drive any more. The car comes with an Alabama title, a replacement steering wheel (see last picture) and some extra chrome parts in a box. It currently does not run, and the radiator fluid has been drained. The brakes need fluid and probably the master cylinder rebuilt. It's been in dry storage about 10 years. Someone put an after market air conditioner in it. I didn't get any keys with it, and it looks like there is a bypass switch used to start it. The seats appear to have been reupholstered at some point. I put one new tire and tube on it because it was leaking. Other than that it appears to be all original and I haven't done any work on it. The paint was originally black but is faded and peeling off from being in the sun. There is no serious rust. The right front fender has a dent. The left rear wing window is cracked. It's all there to be restored back to original or hot rodded. Located near Salem, Oregon. If you are the winning bidder, please contact me for payment details. I do not accept Paypal. Comes with an owner's manual.
