This listing is for 2 Complete Molds and frame jig for both 1936 Prewar Style Mercedes Benz Replica automobile from the actual Thoroughbred Coach Builders in Mount Dora - Florida. The Company was closed in 2010 after the founder / owner Gil Longnecker passed away.If you don't really like your job right now and if you love cars then here you have theopportunity to do what you love, build a new company and change your life !!!The setincludes almost everything to start a new company and to build again the most authentic and the most sought after German prewar style replicas ever built, Mercedes 540K ( 2 Seat Convertible Roadster, Hard & Soft Top) and Mercedes 544K ( 4 seat Hard Top Convertible) !!!Please see photos in this listing with this 2beautiful replica vehicles that we have owned and sold in the past, they were all built with the very same molds for sale here. The Molds are in a fantastic shape and they are all oncommercial casters androtisseries for easy moving around your shop including the frame jig. The bodies are single molds, then you have the doors that will fit both cars (suicide doors), Molds for hood, 2 pieces hood just like the original Mercedes 540K, Molds for side hood with holes for the supercharged pipes, trim panel and the floor mold that will also fit both models, the 2 seater and the 4 seater car, Mold for Side Spare Tires covers and Mold for dash that would fit on both cars. Also, on casters - rotisseries and easy to move the Molds for hard convertible tops, these 2 are not the same, the 540K roadster came in one piece and the hard top for 544K came in 2 pieces. I have addeda lot of photos with cars that were built with these molds just for you to have anidea what I'm talking about in here.....for the interested buyer I can provide more info, send more photos with the actual molds & frame jig.There is a lot of Literature, Instructions Manuals, a very big box full of Documentation...... almost everything that would teach you to start a new company and build again these beautiful toys... A little under 16 feet long bumper to bumper, 120" wheelbase, 67" wide and apprx 8" groundclearance, just the right size for today's garage. Both cars weredesigned to fit Ford Mustang II engines like 302 V8 or 350 V8 Chevy..... everything can be changed if you'll like adifferent engine.... there is enough room under the hood, even a Benz engine would fit if that's what you'd like !The Buy it Now price is very reasonable, we just want to sell them to a motivated car lover or even a custom street rod shop, we have another business which is not car related and we don't have the time to start something like this right now, we decided to sell andhopefully somebody will put a lot of these 2 beautiful cars back on the road or even build Mercedes Street Rods, you don't see Mercedes Street Rods in here very often..... since original Prewar Mercedes are almostimpossible to find and models like 540K or 500K sell for $ millions, there is always gonna be a good market for nice quality Replicas .......Terms and conditions : Molds are located in North Carolina, inspections are welcomed before auction ends, a $ 500 nonrefundable deposit should be paid at the end of the auction, buyer is responsible for shipping, however, we can help with the transport, we know a flatbed carrier that would give you a good rate.
