1952 Hudson

1952 Hudson Hornet HI45. Vin tag says Model 7B. Automatic transmission! This Hudson is a true "barn find". It came out an old Hudson Dealership in downtown Adamsville, TN. It was said to have been parked inside there in 1963,(with a few others) cranked once every few months until late 70s early 80s. Then left completely alone. Many locals stopped by while we were digging it out and confirmed this, however who knows. I do know it was an old Hudson Dealership and it had definitely been in there a very long time! Car is nice and straight with the only rust I can find being when u open the rear driver's door in the bottom corner/rocker area. Appears to have been repainted before it was parked as some of the chrome on front is the light green color. I cleaned the plugs and points, poured gas in the carb and it starts up. it is even pulling gas from the tank which I had drained and added new gas. it will not stay running though past a few seconds. doesn't smoke and motor sounded good.Oil looks good. New bendix in the starter and new 6volt battery. All tires hold air, with one leaking down after a day or two. Tires look horrible. The missing tail light housing is in the trunk but no lense. it also has the fender skirts in the trunk. Original owners manual is included. Car rolls free with exception of one of the rear wheels locked up while loading. it has been sitting a few months so that could have changed. Really neat, hard to find old Hudson in really great original condition. as you can see it is not perfect. it is a car for restoration or get running and drive like it is. I have more pictures of the old dealership and it inside there. Also have more pictures in general and can take whatever is needed. Will try and answer any questions to best of my abilities. Alabama does not title cars past 35 years old. Sold with Alabama bill of sale only. Sold completely As-Is. this is a project! car located in north Alabama.
