1963.5 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback with an upgraded 390ci FE. Clean CA Title.

This Galaxie was running and driving prior to the start of restoration a couple years ago.

ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN:

• 390ci FE V8 (upgraded from original 352ci)
• Runs off gas can, will run independently once fuel system completed
• Large tube headers with full dual exhaust
• Holley 1850 carburetor installed (rebuilt Autolite 4100 also included)
• New Powermaster alternator conversion (generator-style) included
• New Pertronix distributor, Flame Thrower coil, plug wires included
• Automatic transmission has new servo bolts, linkage, vacuum modulator
• 9-inch rear axle (factory specs)

SUSPENSION & BRAKES:

• Front drum brakes upgraded to 3-inch shoes
• New dual master cylinder and proportioning valve installed
• New front shocks and Calvert Racing adjustable rear shocks installed
• New Kumho Solus TA11 215/75R15 tires installed

BODY & FLOOR NEEDS:

• The passenger side quarter panel needs several patches or replacement using the included complete quarter panel. It was parked next to a sprinkler on that side and it rusted. The passenger door appears to have some old body work that needs attention. The driver side quarter has some minor rust in the rear bottom edge. The driver fender needs a patch on the lower corner.
• The lower edge of the rear window will need metal repair. The trunk channels need some portions replaced with the new pieces included from AMD.
• The supplied new front floor pans need trimming and welding in place. The included trunk floor main panel needs alignment to the included brace and welded in.
