1988 Ford E-Series Van Utility Additional Info:

1988 E-250 Work Utility Bell Telephone Van, 3/4-ton. This van appears to have been in the southwest/El Paso region all of its life.
Here is a clean VIN Southwestern Bell Telephone work van that is up for NO RESERVE auction. The DMV check on this vehicle's VIN numbers come back clean, but this van is MISSING its title. It's not hard to get a title, but this auction does not come with this ownership document. The van runs and drives and was previously used for handyman/yard work on non-public roads as part of a private fleet of maintenance vehicles. The van comes with all items pictured, to include the hardhat and utility racks in the back. All glass is good and this is a DRIVER, not a project vehicle. Brand new battery, starts right up. Has keys. Will need new tires at some point soon (16”), but these are good enough to drive around with in the interim (I wouldn’t drive them around the world). Arguably, the 4.9L I6 was one of the best engines made by Ford. This van is 3/4 ton capacity. The appeal of this van, no disrespect to Ford lovers, is not that it is a blue oval truck, but that it is painted in the ORIGINAL Bell Telephone paint scheme, and it retains its nostalgic look. It is a very cool ride. Would be cooler if it were a Chevy, but whatever. We can't seem to solve global warming either, so there are still Fords on the road. Kidding aside, it’s a nice van. New battery.
