1966 Ford Bronco Additional Info:

This is one of the very few export model ever Broncos produced, it is a U13 that was built like a U15 (Top, Doors, mirror location)at the factory and exported to Colombia. The # of export models produced in 1966 is unknown (no documentation exists). It estimated that around 200 were produced in 1966 as export models but nobody really knows. Beside the U15 setup, the export model came with lower compression 170ci "export" engines, and the Speedo is in Kilometers.

Total # of U13’s ever produced was ~5,000. Today, less than 400 U13 Broncos are known to exist; these work horses were driven hard, thoroughly enjoyed and often left to the elements during the off-season. That disposable mentality is what makes this particular “export” truck one of the rarest of the rare! Itis 1 of 10 known to exist, per the U13 Registry. The 3rd digit of the VIN is how you can be certain this is an export, they used a number (6) instead of a letter (F) to identify that it was an export. The lower compression engines were installed to burn the low octane fuel that was in South America at the time.

I have the USDOT and EPA import paperwork that conveys. Truck is in Norfolk, VA, in my garage.

Here are some details on the complete, frame off restoration:

Replacement Steering wheel (unpainted) conveys. I don’t care for the look of the painted steering wheel but hadn’t got around to replacing it.

Reason for selling: We’ve bought a home in Florida so I’m selling a couple toys to buy a boat.
