OK....TIME FOR A FIRE SALE. Started taking pictures outside and of course it started raining with the top down! So I but Corvair back in garage, put the top back up but no more pictures today. SORRY. Tomorrow. I noticed the muffler has a small hole, and it looks like a small oil leak (NEVER leaked a drop before). I did do an oil change before the last time I drove it, I will check into it and post findings. The side view mirror fell out and broke! BAD day for my COPD and going to rest today. I am lower the reserve to $7,000.00 because of mirror, bad muffler and small oil leak which I hope to fix. BUT having COPD (no fun) and artificial ankle with metal plate in my leg it's kindy hard to get stuff done. I will give updates and more pictures when I can. SORRY Mike PS . ALSO see the picture of the front trunk under the original mat (that I ripped trying to pick up stuff in RAIN) that shows rust and the hole that is there. SORRY about rambling on and on but I want the new owner to have NO SURPRISES! $7,000.00 is still a great deal for this car. It is 60 years old so not perfect or restored.

THIS CORVAIR IS A MONZA MODEL 164 cu. in. WITH 110 HP ENGINE WITH DUAL CARBURATORS WITH POWERGLIDE TRANSMISSION.

Hi...added more pictures (26) first pic starts with cardboard on the ground to show oil leak, which looks like it may be on passinger side of engine and valve cover looked like oil on it, was going to get picture but all photo's are locked and I couldn't switch out. If you need more photo's or a video (I took one with oil on cardboard and car running but can't find it!) PLEASE ask for pics or video and I can send. I showed the two spots with bubbles, drive side lower fender and passinger side rear down low behind rear wheel. I showed the lights on the gauge cluster with key on, then after starting lights are out. The under dash lights work and all other inside and outside lights.

*** I also have a disributor with electronic ignition to install. When I bought car it had rally wheels with ralley caps and rings in good shape. I like the wire hubcaps more but you will get both. Wire caps don't completely bottom out on the ralley wheels but stayed on so far. PLEASE ask for pics!! Mike

6-7-25...I bought a mirror for the broken side view mirror which should be here before auction ends, the muffler didn't have a hole, it was a patch I saw about 2"x2", the oil leak looks like the passinger side valve cover (valve covers are finned just like the oil pan-OTTO parts-look them up) . SORRY but NO trades now that the reserve has been meant! Questions, pictures please ask. I want buyer to be happy with this 60 year old car! I've stopped driving the car when the reserve was meant cause it ain't mine anymore! CAR MUST BE PICKED UP IN 30 DAYS AFTER AUCTION ENDS-OR $5.00 A DAY STORAGE FEES AFTER THAT. 6-11...Corvair comes with a car cover - that I've never used once. Car was always parked in the garage. Also comes with owners guide (manual), 1965 Corvair Chassis shop manual (the cover is very used), both (2) fan belts, new radio cable that came with the new antenia and a jack with spare tire.
