[isdntekvideo] Thank you for viewing my auction. After being disappointed by all the ratty other collector vehicle projects out there and looking at this one, please feel free to message me. This 1969 Mustang Mach1 Fastback is exceptionally nice from top to bottom and is 99% rust free (only surface rust, no holes anywhere that I could find!!) and wears 100% Ford OEM sheet metal. No import garbage metal on this car that most have by now that is 1/2 the thickness of original OEM Ford metal!! No body filler either than I could find. Was purchased by original owners at Palm Springs Ford in January, 1970. It was dealer traded by another Ford dealer as they wanted a 1969 not a 1970 and insisted on the M code 351W 4 barrel engine with FMX automatic transmission, Acapulco Blue exterior paint, A/C, power steering, and power disc brakes. The did NOT want the optional front and rear spoilers which they called "too racy"!!.She was a middle school teacher and he was a high school principal. Car was driven on nice days and loved like a member of their family. It was never in any type of accident, but was taken by their 17 year old nephew while they were on vacation to Cancun during Easter of 1982. He took the car against their permission and had it painted (terribly!!) in white to try and disguise the car. When they returned, he was arrested and the car was returned to them. They were so upset about the whole situation, that the car was driven very seldom after and eventually parked in early 1983 in their garage in Palm Springs (only 6441 miles per year for the 13 years it was on the road!!) and then towed to their new home in Agora Hills, CA in 1990. They continued to renew the registration until 1993 until CA started requiring smog inspections for the 1994 registration sticker. Car was not started or driven since 1983 until I purchased it this past December from their son who kept the car all these years since they passed away with intentions to restore it. Car was left in their garage never to be driven again since early 1983. Mileage was 82,735 and is definitely original and never rolled over. Engine and trans have never been removed from the car. It even wears the original exhaust with transverse muffler and rolled tip duel exhaust tips!! I towed the car to my location near Palm Springs, CA, hosed it down, inventoried what was there, pulled all the spark plugs, filed the points, put some Marvel Mystery Oil in all the cylinders, let it sit for a few days, changed the oil and filter, put a new fuel line from the fuel pump to a gas can, and the engine fired right up to life!! Rebuild the carb, add fresh fluids, rebuild and bleed the brakes and you have a drivable "barn find" Mach 1 fastback!! I put the car in drive and it moved and also put in reverse and it moved. I did not attempt to drive any further due to the brakes. Power steering worked as did all the gauges and original radio. Engine has no odd noises and did not smoke!! Even the original AM radio is in place and the dash has never been cut up like most, nor have the doors, rear panels or trunk to interior package tray cut for aftermarket speakers like most have been! I paid a lot for this car, so I am not going to give it away. This is the least expensive, unrestored 1969 Mach 1 in the country right now!! I bought it to sell and have restored over 500 Mustangs and Shelby's over the past 30+ years, many of which became national show winners at MCA events, This is one of the nicest and easiest to restore examples I have seen in a very, VERY long time and is a blank canvas for your resto-mod, Shelby clone, concourse restoration, or?? Pay a little more than the junk out there for sale and get a much easier to restore car!! You can easily spend what I am asking on a rust bucket in rust repair alone and it will never be as good and solid as this car is already. Any other collector vehicle you may be looking at, make sure they have underside shots. Even super low mileage vehicles, if stored in humid area, the undersides are rusty and corroded just from the moist air. This one is super clean and the many underside pictures show this. This is a Buy It Now auction and it will sell and you will not find another like it for such a great price, 99% rust free, 98% complete, and in 1 family since new! Most of my vehicles I list on eBay end up selling before listing ends due to time on the Buy It Now where you get it immediately!! No document fees or taxes collected by me. Don't miss out, this incredible1969 Mustang Mach 1 Fastbackwill sell, hopefully to you. Try finding one of these these cars that has never been abused, or driven in bad salty weather like this one and has such an solid underside.
