* NO RESERVE *1978 Pontiac Trans Am, Pontiac 400 engine, 4-speed manual, T-tops, velour interior and a rare dealer installed Roll Bar. The Engine runs strong and sounds healthy, sounds to have a larger cam than stock. It will need an exhaust system installed, it's running straight headers at the moment. The transmission has a new clutch and all gears work. The interior is all original except for the carpet. The floor has had the rear pans replaced, The trunk is solid. The hood hinge springs are a little weak. It has 4 New BF Goodrich tires. Brakes will stop the car but they feel soft and will need work. It's factory Red but it has been repainted. The paint isn't great and may require a good buff and polish to look real nice. Half the gauges don't work but it has about five blown fuses. Headlights work. It has a complete key set, ignition, door and trunk. It also comes with a new door seal kit to install. The windows roll up and down nice, and the doors open and shut like new. The odometer shows 37,480 but I'm sure it's 137KMy brother and I, own a used RV business and we took this in trade as a partial payment on a 38" quad slide fifth wheel. The guy who traded it in, said he had it since 1987 and it was his uncles' before him, who bought it new. It supposedly was on the show room floor when it was new with the Roll Bar already installed. Our RV business does not have an automotive dealers license, So the Trans am is, and always has been, titled in my name since we've owned it. It has no connection with our business. It is being sold by me, a private seller. Please ask any questions you require answered or any pictures you need to see. I am happy to show it to anyone who wants to do a personal inspection. This all needs to be done BEFORE the end of the auction, not after. We just need to turn this Trans Am into cash so we are selling it with NO RESERVE. no matter what it sells for. High bidder will own it.A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours via eBay payments, PayPal or wire transferFull payment is due within 3 days via Cash or Bank Wire Transfer. We can store the car indoors for 3 weeksI will work with your shipper on my end.
