Body

· A Full rotisserie restoration was performed on the body. After blasting & metal completion, and while still on the rotisserie the internals of the car were sprayed with Lizard Skin Sound & Heat treatment. The firewall and bottom of the car are coated in epoxy & ceramic chassis black.

· Fenders: Both fenders are original ‘69 GM Sheet metal. The backsides of the fenders are sprayed with Lizard Skin sound deadener.

· Upper Valence & Cowl Panels: The upper valence is a NOS panel for a 67-68 Camaro gently modified to fit the front ‘69 Camaro grill. The cowl panel is original to the car.

· Hood, fender extensions, lower valence & grill are OER/AMD parts.

· Doors: Both doors are original GM parts with new OER lower door hinges and rebuilt original upper hinges. Door & quarter glass is original GM 68-69 clear glass.

· Roof panel & drip rails are original GM sheet metal. Original roof to drip rail seam sealer was removed and fresh sealer installed.

· Rear Quarters: Both quarters are original with repairs done to the wheel lips using AMD donor panels.

· Trunk & Rear Tail Pan: Both are original GM sheet metal.

· Floor Pan: Floor pan is original to the car. Patches were installed on the rear seat floor foot section.

· Windshield & Rear glass are OER clear. Stainless trim is original in the front & OER in the rear.

· Frame: The frame was modified to fit the Ridetech front suspension coilovers after being blasted. The frame was then powder coated chassis black & installed with solid bushings. Ridetech subframe connectors are installed to strengthen the subframe.

· Trunk: The trunk was coated with Lizard Skin Sound deadener and covered with Grey/White trunk spatter paint.

·Steering: Original rebuilt tilt column with Lee quick ration steering box, original centerlink and new Moog tierods.

Paint

·The entire car was blasted twice while on the rotisserie, before & after metal correction. It was cleaned with a zinc enriched wash and then coated with epoxy inside and out. The entire inside was then sprayed with Lizard Skin Heat and Sound deadener and the full bottom of the car, firewall to tail pan, was coated with 2k ceramic chassis black paint.

· Bodywork was completed utilizing Evercoat Rage Ultra and Glaze. The car then underwent 2 rounds of Eastwood Contour polyester primer. A final coat of PPG High build primer was applied. The base coat is Deltron Glacier Blue GM code D-D. Clearcoat is Deltron DC4000.

The lower rockers & rear quarter lower edges are coated with SEM chip guard protective clear paint.
